Most AZ-104 mistakes come from the right idea applied at the wrong level
AZ-104 failures spread across scope overreach, near-right architecture, operational complexity underestimation, and over-provisioning rather than concentrating in one area. Scope overreach and near-right architecture together account for most missed points: the answer identifies the correct control but applies it at the wrong boundary, or selects the correct service with the wrong permission model. Operational complexity underestimation is a separate failure: candidates design custom automation or scripted enforcement when Azure Policy or a built-in role already covers the requirement exactly.
