AZ-305 tests design judgment under organizational and technical constraint
The Azure Solutions Architect Expert exam presents scenarios anchored in constraint: a compliance posture, a recovery objective, a cost ceiling, or an organizational boundary. The correct answer satisfies that constraint. Candidates who treat AZ-305 as a service knowledge test consistently narrow to two options and choose the technically richer one. At expert level, the question is rarely whether an architecture is technically valid; it is whether the architecture is appropriate for the described team structure, governance requirement, and cost envelope simultaneously.
