AWS Advanced Networking (ANS-C01) trap evaluation
6 trap types across 200 Advanced Networking questions. Know which ones cost you points — and train until they don't.
Near-valid connectivity architectures are the primary trap on ANS-C01
ANS-C01 wrong answers are often networking architectures that would be correct under a different set of constraints. The distinguishing constraint is usually embedded in the scenario: provisioning timeline, bandwidth requirement, traffic isolation boundary, or routing control model. Direct Connect dedicated versus hosted, Transit Gateway versus VPC peering, and routing policy selection each become the wrong answer when a single constraint clause is missed or treated as secondary. Candidates who evaluate services before extracting the full constraint set tend to land on the most capable option rather than the contextually correct one.
