AWS Advanced Networking (ANS-C01) pattern recognition
5 question patterns across 200 Advanced Networking questions. Learn the structures — stop guessing, start recognizing.
Connectivity model selection, DNS design, and edge architecture are the main recurring structures in ANS-C01
Network connectivity questions recur with different scenario contexts but the same underlying decision structure: which model satisfies the bandwidth, latency, and isolation requirements described. Direct Connect variations (dedicated vs hosted, private vs public VIF) appear repeatedly with slightly different constraint profiles. Transit Gateway architecture questions test the transitive routing design, attachment configuration, and route table scoping required for the described multi-VPC or multi-account topology. DNS and routing questions form a second major cluster: Route 53 resolver configuration, routing policy selection (failover vs latency vs geolocation), and when a combination of policies is the correct answer. CloudFront and Global Accelerator edge architecture rounds out the remaining volume.
