GCP Professional Cloud Architect (PCA) trap evaluation
6 trap types across 200 Professional Cloud Architect questions. Know which ones cost you points — and train until they don't.
Valid GCP architectures that fail the organizational constraint
Near-right architecture is the recurring failure mode on PCA. The wrong answers are valid designs that satisfy the technical requirements but fail the business constraint the scenario specifies: a reliability tier, a governance boundary, a team ownership model, or a cost envelope that rules out the technically richer option. Compute platform selection is one consistent version of this: GKE is right for some scenarios and the over-engineered wrong answer for others, depending on what the scenario states about operational model and traffic pattern. The same structure runs through storage selection, network architecture, and governance design.
