AWS AI Practitioner (AIF-C01) pattern recognition

6 question patterns across 125 AI Practitioner questions. Learn the structures — stop guessing, start recognizing.

Service selection and responsible AI application are the recurring question structures

Use-case-to-service matching is the dominant question structure: a business requirement followed by four service or approach choices, where the correct answer depends on the use case category (image analysis, document processing, conversational AI, text generation, search). Generative AI concept questions form a second cluster: foundation model selection criteria, prompt engineering techniques, and RAG architecture components appear repeatedly with different scenario contexts. Responsible AI questions test which principle applies to a described scenario (fairness, explainability, safety, privacy) and which AWS capability or governance control maps to that principle. Understanding which type a question belongs to — capability selection, concept application, or governance mapping — identifies what kind of reasoning is required before evaluating the options.
